Digital Storytelling

I'd love to incorporate more opportunities for digital story telling in my 2nd grade classroom. Though it requires a lot of back end work for teachers I believe it's a really valuable reflection tool instead of writing. Reflecting is what really makes processing and learning happen for our kids. Kids are naturally motivated to make a movie, and at least in my experience, typically not as excited to reflect on their learnings or feelings. In this way technology can be a real asset. As a bonus we can use it to connect with the families, who should be aware and excited about our curriculum too!
